Vi besökte Maya Bay, där filmen ”The Beach” spelades in. Det skulle kunna ha varit en helt underbar upplevelse, så oerhört vacker natur. Men det gick inte att njuta. Däremot tittade jag fascinerat på antalet besökare. För där var fler än många. Galet många människor och båtar. En hemsk turistfälla som blev en helt annan upplevelse än vad jag hade tänkt mig. Men min rekommendation blir: Åk inte dit!
We visited Maya Bay, where the movie "The Beach" was recorded. It could have been a wonderful experience, so incredibly beautiful scenery. But we could not enjoy it. However I looked fascinated at the number of visitors. For there was more than many. Crazy many people and boats. A horrible tourist trap that became a completely different experience than I had thought. My recommendation is: do not go there!

Unbelievable to see so many people in a spot that was depicted as idyllic! Fits the theme perfectly.
